Easter Cards Four and Five

Yay! I managed to get the 5 Easter Cards done that I needed for my friends. I actually did these this weekend but was unable to put them up until now.

I used more of the Lawn Fawn perfectly plaid paper pad. The die is one of the picture book dies from Simon Says Stamp. I really enjoyed playing with playbook die. This is the first time I have used them.

I created this card using the same supplies as before except using the MFT collage cover up die.

2018 Easter Cards Two and Three

How is everyone doing? I got an extra 2 days off this week and thoroughly enjoyed it. I managed some hiking with my dog and was able to create 2 Easter cards instead of one. This week I again used this weeks MFT sketch challenge, Sketch 376.

I started off by stamping the Pure Innocence Spring Friends and coloring it in with my copic markers. Then I cut the image out with the Cross-Stitch Circle Stax Die-namics from MFT. (They no longer carry this on their website but do have a set of Stitched Circle Stax Die-namics). Using MFT's Die-namics A2 Stitched STAX set 1 and 2, cut out the papers and created the background.

Finally, I stamped a sentiment and butterfly on the inside of the card. Coloring the butterfly carefully with my pink copic makers.

The second card was created basically the same just using the Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet stamp set from MFT.  Using the MFT cloud and hills stencils, I created the small back ground and cut everything out again using the Stitched A2 Stax Die-namics from MFT.

Stitched the sentiment on the inside and colored in some more Easter eggs on the inside of the card.

That was it. I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and a wonderfully amazing day.

2018 Easter Card One

Does anyone else have trouble with motivation? I certainly do. Recently, I was looking around my craft room and discovered that I had multiple stamp sets and supplies that have never been used. I absolutely love buying new supplies and stamps, but seem to lack the motivation to use them all. Well today that is going to change. I am going to start making myself blog each week to hold myself accountable for creating new cards/crafts using all my supplies.

Starting this week, I am going to create Easter cards for my friends and family. This week I played along with MFT's sketch challenge sketch 375.

I started by using Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Bunny has a Daffodil coloring her in with my copic markers. Then using MFT's A2 stitched rectangle stax both 1 and 2, I created my background.

I glued everything together and popped up the image with foam tape. Then stamped the sentiment on a circle punch and placed it in the bottom right hand corner to somewhat go along with the sketch. Finished the card off by stamping the image again on the inside using Angel Pink ink.

That completed the card. Hopefully, I will stay motivated and finish all my Easter cards this year. I hope all of you have a wonderfully amazing day!
