Day 5 of MFT's Camp Create

The last day of camp create was all about shadow stamping. This is a technique I have never used before and ended up creating a card very similar to the one in the MFT's you tube video.

I used one of MFT's large flower stamp sets with Pink Flamingo Lawn Fawn/white pigment ink to stamp the background. The hello sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

Day 4 of the MFT Camp Create Challenges.

Day 4's camp create challenge is to create a card using dry embossing. I created to following card.

The background was created using a square cover-up die-namic from MFT. I then colored the background using three different distress inks festive berries, picked raspberry and spun sugar. The image is from the Neat and Tangled Say Yes to Donuts stamp set.

Day 3 of MFT's Camp Create

The challenge for day 3 is to create a card using the emboss resist technique.

I had been wanting to try this type of card for the past several months and finally got around to it. I used my new Mamma Elephant Happy Mail stamp set to create the sentiment. I embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder along with a small shadow. I then applied twisted citron distress ink over the embossed sentiment and stenciled the stars onto the background. I messed the technique up by not completely getting my Happy Mail stamp clean from the black ink before applying the Versamark.

Day 2 of MFT's Camp Create

Day 2 of camp create the week is Awesome Ombre.

I created this card using Neat and Tangled's Big Bold Brew stamp set. I attempted to color the cup using my copic markers in an ombre fashion. I then stamped the background with MFT's new Whimsical Waves background stamp. Embossing it with detail white embossing powder then color over it with distress inks. I then used craft card stock to back the elements on the card.

MFT Camp Create

This past week My Favorite Things had their last week of camp create. Last time I was only able to manage one card for participation. This week I spent the weekend coming up with 5 cards to enter each days challenge. Unfortunately, that means I am posting all entries at the same time. So here it goes.

Day 1 of camp create was monochromatic stamping.

I used distress ink to create the background and the Fire burst stencil from the August Simon Says Stamp card kit. The die is the Happy Birthday to You die-namics from last month's MFT release.

Stamping Bella Bellarific Friday Challenge for Aug 12,2016

I finally go time to participate in another Bellarific Friday Challenge. Yay! This week was a Mojobella sketch,

I created the card using one of the new Bella 2.0 images Cosmo Bella. I used paper from the 6x6 paper pad Soak up the Sun by Alisha Gorden. I created the circle using MFT's cross stitch circle stax die-namics.

While creating this card, I decided to make a second card to not waste the paper. So I used MFT's Bon Cheri stamp set. I just love this stamp set especially with these colors and paper.

There are my cards. I hope you guys have a great day!

MFT Camp Create Day 1

I saw this you-tube video online and just couldn't wait to participate in the challenge. I have a new minc mini and have been waiting for the perfect time to use it. Here is the card I created for the challenge.

The background is embossed using an embossing folder I got from Hobby Lobby then inked with distress inks. I then used the BB Recipe for Happiness stamp set and colored him with copic markers. I then created the foiled "happy" using my mini minc machine and red deco foil. The birthday is stamped and embossed using detail white embossing powder on a piece of black card stock. The card stock is cut into a flag shape and glued to the front of the card.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

This Week's MFT Color Challenge

This week I thought it would be fun to play along with MFT's color challenge.

I just received my new MFT goodies and could not wait to try out the new MFT pop-up element wide die-namics. I also had the wonderful Happy Mail stamp set and Incoming Mail stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I water colored the background using four different distress inks then embossed the Happy Mail sentiment with silver embossing powder. The card front panel was cut out using the Blueprints 1 and Blueprints 2 die-namics from My Favorite Things. I then added some of the envelopes from the incoming mail set to tie it in with the inside of the card.

The background was created again using some distress inks. I used the pop-up element dies to pop-out the pandas. The pandas and mail box are from the Mama Elephant incoming mail set. The pandas were colored with my new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens. I love these pens. So much fun. Everything is supper sparkly.

July 8, 2016 Stamping Bella Bellarific Friday Challenge

This weeks Bellarific Friday Challenge is a MojoBella sketch.

Here is the card I made for the challenge.

I used Stamping Bella's Edna the Diva rubber stamp and colored her in with copic markers. I then applied gold wink of stella to her crown and clear wink of stella to her wings. Next, I cut out a piece of purple card stock with the Mft Inside and Out rectangular stax die-namics. I cut out a piece of pattern paper using the largest die from the Blueprints 2 Die-namics. I then adhered a piece of gold ribbon and red strip of card stock to the patterned paper. Then adhered everything together and applied to a A2 sized card front. I then stamped Edna the Diva on the inside of the card using Mft's Grapesicle Hybrid Ink.

Stamping Bellarific Friday Challenge

I have been very bad about updating my blog lately. I have still been making cards, just not uploading to the blog for challenges. I did decide I wanted to play along with the bellarific Friday challenge this week and use paper piecing with a current Stamping Bella image. I was also making this card for my niece's Easter card this year and had already picked this image out.
